Process of Waste Recycling / Destruction

In NCC two methods for waste Recycling/Destruction

1. Energy Recovery:

The use of waste as alternative fuels which involves processing waste materials such as burnable materials, used tires, paints … etc. and feeding them into high temperature zones of the kiln. These materials combust completely, releasing energy that is used for clinker production. This process reduces landfill use and lowers harmful emissions.

2. Incineration:

The waste material after preparation is carefully mixed with the raw materials and introduced into the kiln feed in a controlled manner to ensure it does not negatively impact clinker quality. Once inside the kiln, the waste is subjected to temperatures of approximately 1500°C, where it is fully combusted. The high temperature, coupled with the elevated oxygen levels at the kiln burners, ensures rapid combustion and complete oxidation, effectively destroying the waste material.
